While we've seen some of our beloved farm members at the market and at our Spring Share this year already,  the start of our main CSA season is a long, long anticipated event around here.  We are so very excited!!  To the honest, we think of you all quite a lot.  Our season starts deep in the winter months, when we pour over seed catalogs and crop plans, then moves to the greenhouses in March, and out to the fields in April.  With every step we are thinking about the community of eaters we are growing for, and that connection bring much meaning and satisfaction to our work.  

After what seemed like the longest winter and the coldest spring, we have fields just bursting with vegetables!  As we headed out to the field for our first big harvest today, we were blown away with the size and quality of everything we picked.  We can't wait to share it with you!  We are so lucky to have a stellar crew of many very skilled and experienced farmers this year, and it is such a pleasure to do this work with them for you.  We'll introduce you to our key crew members in the next few weeks--they are a HUGE part of why our fields and vegetables are thriving as we head into the busiest time of the year.  Thank you all!!
