Roasted Garlic

  • 1 Bulb of garlic
  • Olive Oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Snip the top of your garlic bulb so that a bit of each clove is exposed. Drizzle olive oil into the cloves and salt lightly. Wrap in foil and place into a 350 degree oven or a warm grill until the bulb is soft to the touch. Remove from the oven/grill and, once it is cool enough to touch, squeeze the garlic out of the bulb into a bowl. Add more salt, pepper, or olive oil to taste. The roasted garlic will keep for a week or so in your fridge. Serve warm with crusty bread!
